How to grow Hyacinth - Hyacinthus orientalis

Hyacinth is a herbaceous perennial flowering plant,20-30 cm high, native to Asia, Africa and the Mediterranean. It is flowering in the spring with white, purple, pink or blue flowers.
This flower prefers sunny places, sandy soil rich with nutrients. After end of flowering it needs less water,  cut the leaves after they become yellow, dig out the bulb, clear it, dry it in sun light for 1-2 hours. Bulbs must be stored in dry, dark room in temperature about 15-17 degree C. Plant bulbs in autumn (September - November).
